Breaking News! Peria Jerry Gets Surgery on Thursday
October 1st, 2009 | by Tupac4Congress |Head coach Mike Smith told the press today that first round draft pick Peria Jerry had surgery to repair his injured left knee. Peria Jerry suffered the injury on September 20th against the Carolina Panthers. Thomas Johnson is now in the starter spot replacing Peria on defense. Overall, this story is very sad and I was hoping to see Peria Jerry have a breakout year. But, with all that behind us, he is still a very young player and will be back next year. I wish the best of luck to him on a speedy recovery!

Now, October 1st is here and the year seems to be flying by quick and the Philadelphia Phillies clinched the NL East last night. Great works by the Phillies and congrats to Brad Lidge for not letting up a run in the game.
