Redman In, Ryan Out

December 5th, 2009 | by Tupac4Congress |

I never thought I would be saying this in my life, but Chris Redman will return to start quarter back as the Atlanta Falcons have a very pivotal game against the Philadelphia Eagles, this game has some playoff implications. Another problem is that Michael Turner and Roddy White are listed “Questionable”. This is the worst time in the world for the injury bug to hit the Falcons.

Another post worthy note is that Jason Elam will no longer be taking the kicks because that job belongs to Matt Bryant now. Does anybody remember Matt Bryant AKA. Philadelphia Eagles Killer? That video was the best quality I could find.

The Eagles come into the game with our guy, Michael Vick. Vick lead this franchise to an NFC Championship to his later team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Michael Vick is one of the most exciting players in the NFL and it is really ashame to see him on the Eagles bench because he could easily be a starter on Buffalo, San Fran, and maybe even Denver right now.

This will an uphill battle for our Atlanta Falcons because if we win, we can say we beat the Eagles with no even our best players out on the field. I swear, if I look at the depth chart for this game, I think about the Pre Season all over again. Hopefully, Chris Redman won’t play that bad, but Falcons fans have other stuff to worry about too, like the defense.

The Eagles should be without Brian Westbrook and DeSean Jackson, which is very good news for the Falcons. This will cut some speed on the Eagles offense and if it is one thing the Falcons defense has trouble stopping, it is speed. This should really be a good game for Jeremy Maclin because that boy can book it.

The Falcons will be relying on Jason Snelling again, the very big bruiser for my home state of New Jersey. Snelling has to play very well this game and hopefully he can average at least 3.2 yards a carry on the ground.

With Roddy White might being out. I will hope to see a rise in Tony Gonzalez’s stats because this guy is a tank. This is his chance to prove why he is a good signing for the Falcons. Tony just needs to come up big this game because I know he has been playing with scrubs, look at his final years in Kansas City.

Also, sorry for not posting in awhile, the Blog Servers were hitting me hard because every time I wanted to post, I would have trouble getting onto the site. But, that should no longer be a problem anymore because they were only updating the servers at the time.
